Fall Line Update

Just a quick update that the Fall line will be up tonight in the next hour or two. It's been a hectic day processing existing orders and answering emails. If I haven't responded to your email, no worries, I will tonight.

I received a few questions about some of the other items that are available year long such as Spider Silk and Chocolade, everything will be up tonight as well.

Sad news, but new beginnings

I've been gone for awhile and I do apologize. It saddens me to say that we lost our uncle. He lost his battle with lung cancer. He was such a good man. Everyone loved him. He was a true family man. He lost his wife 30 years earlier to brain cancer and raised his 3 children alone. He never remarried, never dated. He devoted his entire life to his family. He was a fighter. He fought this cancer to the end. But he left us with the best memories and left us wanting to be half the person he was.

Which leads me to Debaucherous Bath. I have thought long and hard about this and with the rapid growth of DB I knew I had to prepare for this upcoming season. I have partnered up with my best friend. So we will be working together beginning next week. My daughter begins college in 2 weeks so I will no longer have her to help me with my orders. My other children have begun school and now I am home with my toddler. We have spent the last week in preparation for the Fall collection. Last years Fall items will be returning this week, beginning Wednesday August 22nd. Ther wil be a few changes though.

Calavera and Bewitching Hour will only be available in Whipped Soap, Bubbling Scrub and Sugar Scrub. It will not be available in perfume or lotion.

Raven will be available in limited quantities. I was unable to get the main note replaced due to my uncle being so ill all year. So it left me with little time to really prep for this years Fall collection.

Many of you have already know this, but shipping has not been added to the site yet. I'm hoping to do this within the next couple weeks. I have to contact USPS to set it up with my shopping cart to get live shipping quotes. I haven't had the time since my uncle was very ill. In the meantime I will continue to collect shipping separately when your order has been prepared and ready to ship. Please keep in mind, your order will not ship until shipping has been paid. I always offer exact shipping and I give you the option for the cheapest method.

Current Update

I hadn't realized my last update was back in May. My apologies.

I have been absent as of late from blogging. As you may recall, I have a family member that is dying of cancer. He has taken a turn for the worse, so this is where I have been unfortunately.

Which means I have been a little slow on processing orders and getting back on emails.  But I am working on them. This also means I've been slow on completing the website and getting the summer collections up. I'd really like to get them up before the month is over as I'll be adding the Fall/Halloween line a little earlier this year, possibly late August, early September.

Getting through

Just an update that I am getting through convos and emails today.

Also it appears that although I have enlisted some additional help, a couple orders have been processed incorrectly so I am working on fixing those as well. If you have a problem with your order, please email me at debaucherousbath [at!] g mail dot com (no spaces, marks, etc). It's easier for me to go through emails than convos as convos get shifted in a weird way, if I haven't already contacted you via etsy convo yet.

Latest Update

A new update since I haven't been able to update as of late. I am still working on orders in the 2-3 day time frame. I thank you for your patience. I also thank you for your warm wishes and prayers. Trying to make life normal again. Things have been very difficult as of late but we are managing. I have realized that I cannot put my life on hold, well, we have realized we cannot put our lives on hold. So we are managing here. That is the best way I can describe it really.


I have been doing some thinking. My daughter is graduating in just a few short weeks, which gives me even more help here with Debaucherous Bath. I am going to slowly transition all items over to the website and slowly move away from the etsy shop. Etsy fees are becoming quite a bit with the added fees of Paypal and with a flat monthly fee from my hosting company, it makes more sense to just have all my products in one place. So by the end of summer all items will be at my website only. So you will start to see more items being offered on the website than the etsy shop in the near future.


At the end of this month I will be taking down the Twisted Fairytale and Dark Woods collections. They will not be available again until next year and will not be available in the overstock sale. I will be having one last overstock sale until after the holidays (Christmas, etc) for the Loved to Death Valentine collection items I have left remaining near the end of this month. Rapunzel and Little Red Riding Hood will be making a permanent mark with Debaucherous Bath and will be available year long.


I *may* bring some scents back as Limited Edition items around the holiday time for gift giving or to stock up on your favorites. I haven't decided yet. It will really depend on how much help I have at that time as I do not want to bring down my TAT like it has been in the past. When I started this business it started as a passion, a hobby, something to occupy my time with and to share my creative side with. I really had no clue how much it would grow and in such a short amount of time. So when the holidays came last year, I was really unprepared compared to the prior year. Not to mention with the sad and unforeseen incidents in my family this year. Plus my daughter will be in college, so by the time the holidays come, I will not have her help anymore. I am trying to plan ahead and be prepared based off of prior and recent experiences. 


Next week sometime I will begin to restock the etsy shop. I will also add the 2 new perfumes I mentioned before, Candyman and Dollface Bettie. Next month sometime I will introduce my summer collections. I have 3 I am bringing out with a 4th I am debating on. I may bring that one out later in the summer.


I also have some new handmade cold process soaps coming out in scents not available in any other product.


I'll be working on some convos and orders tonight.
