Happy Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! My absolute favorite holiday! 

It's been a long weekend. I've been working overtime getting all orders caught up and I am happy to say they are all going out today, any orders placed over the weekend and today will be going out tomorrow. Whew!

Today I will be taking down the Halloween scents. I have a few left in stock so grab them while you can. After today they are gone. What is on etsy is all I have left. I will not be relisting anything as far as the Halloween scents go, including the sample sizes. This also goes for the perfume petites. What is on the website will be coming down as well.

Don't forget that many scents are coming down on November 18th as well.

Bathory will be making its debut sometime around November 9th or12th. Around this time I will also be introducing my new winter line as well.

TAT & Website updates

I just wanted to give an update on the turn around time. Both etsy and the website have been keeping me busy with orders, even though the website has not been updated because of the transition over to the new name. But, because of this the turn around time was slowed down to 3-5 days, more like 5 days. I've been working overtime to get all orders caught up and it looks like we'll be all caught up by Monday. This is wonderful news!!!

Also, since I have been working on getting orders I'm not quite finished with the Debaucherous website. I'm hoping though that I'll be done by the end of the week or by the following week since I will be away next Friday. 


Over the next week you may start to notice things being added to the site. Once it is completed I'll make an announcement here. The Haus of Haunt site will remain up but will not be available for purchasing product. There will be an announcement on the homepage directing everyone to the new site.  Eventually that site will be taken down.

Cooler weather & Holiday time!

The weather is finally getting cooler, it's beginning to feel like Christmas is coming. Getting the German Christmas line up and listening to Christmas music (yes I'm listening to Christmas music already, it helps get me in the holiday spirit! lol), it's so nice and believe it or not I have the heater on, I am cold! :-). I love this weather! And to think, Halloween is barely on Monday. Once Halloween comes, it's time for me to begin preparing for family events with my family and friends.  Every weekend from this point on is a fun filled weekend of holiday fun for us, every year and I love it! I rarely get to see my family all year long as they all live in other states, so this time of year means the world to me.

The remainder of the German Christmas line is going up today and I am also processing orders. I should be caught up by this weekend. 

Next Friday, November 4th, I have volunteered my services for a dear friend and will be unable to answer any convos or process any orders as I will be away. I will return on Monday November 7th.  Any orders received on Thursday November 3rd will be shipped out beginning Monday November 7th. The etsy shop will remain open.

I have received a few emails and convos in regards to samples for the German line, I will also be adding those by tonight. 

German Line Debut & Product Update

Most of the German line bubbling scrubs and whipped soaps are up. I have a bit of a headache from the dilation of my eyes, so I was working slowly tonight.

I will have the remainder of the German line up tomorrow including lotions and sugar scrubs for the first time. These are not the same as our bubbling scrubs. They are emulsifying scrubs that when in contact with water emulsify into a creamy scrub that exfoliates and moisturizes the skin.


I will also be adding perfumes tomorrow of the German Christmas scents.

I will be offering another Christmas line, a more traditional line, sometime next month. This one stems from my southern roots. Yes, even though I was born and raised in California, I do have family from the south! It's more of an amusing line really.

I have a new winter line coming out soon as well called Dead Winter, a preview of the line will be coming next week. I haven't set a date for the new line yet though. Perhaps mid to late November.


And finally the new product I spoke briefly of last month will be making it's debut within the next couple weeks. It's called Bathory! An in the shower moisturizer. I will be starting off with just 12 scents. Bathory will only be available during the winter months since this is an item that can melt in the warmer months. Availability will be from November until about April. Scents will vary. I will not be offering this product in every scent I carry.

German Debut Update

Just a quick update to let you know, I forgot I have an eye exam today that includes a lovely dilation of the eyes in about 30 minutes. So when that wears off I will add the German line to my etsy shop. I apologize for the delay. I was editing photos and nearly forgot about the appt.

Today I will be getting orders ready to ship out for today and tomorrow.

Wednesday I will begin launching the German line.

Birthday Sale Reminder

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am keeping the sale open for one more day since I wasn't able to add the lotions up just yet. I'm working on adding them today as we speak. The sale will end tomorrow, Monday by 6pm Pacific time.

I'm a bit delayed on adding a few things. I wanted to get caught up on orders first before I started adding new products. So now that I'm caught up, I'm currently editing photos for the lotions and then I'll add those up on etsy in a bit.


As far as the lip balms go, I did not hear back from my supplier, so I will be placing a phone call tomorrow. Maybe I'll get an answer that way. I'd really like to know if the lip balm tubes are suppose to work in that manner or if they are suppose to go back down after you turn them up. So I will keep you posted.

Just a quick note to let you know that the current turn around time is running around 3-4 days. I'm looking to have it back to the usual 1-2 days by Friday.

New Items being listed

Over the next couple of days I am adding new lotions in existing scents like Zombie Girl, Pumpkin Regal and more. New soaps are coming, beginning with Army of the Dead. By the weekend I will be adding new soaps in entirely new scents that are not offered in other products.

More samples of the bubbling scrubs and whipped soaps are being added as well in nearly all the scents.

Next week the German line is being launched.  So excited!

New Etsy Shop Name

You may have already noticed Haus of Haunt on etsy is now Debaucherous Bath!

Recently etsy implemented a new option to change an existing etsy shop name. This of course happened after we opened a new etsy shop name of Debaucherous Bath. With a lot of thought, we decided to just change the existing etsy shop name from Haus of Haunt to Debaucherous Bath Body (etsy doesn't allow & or other symbols) since we already opened a shop with the name Debaucherous Bath we could not use that name for the existing Haus of Haunt shop. 

This change allows us to keep our existing feedback and sales and also allows our customers to continue to search for us while redirecting to the new name.

Our new website is still in the works as it takes quite a bit of time to move over all the items. We're aiming for November 1st, but it may be in the first week of November before it is complete.

I'm Back!

I'm back! Although my vacation with my husband was wonderful, I missed my kids terribly. I am glad to be back home.

The shop is reopening tomorrow as scheduled.

New perfumes are coming tomorrow. Later in the week will be a couple new soaps as well. As far as the new perfumes go, these are Limited Edition perfumes, limited in quantity and only available until October 31st or sold out, whichever comes first. They will not be available in the perfume petite sample sizes due to their limited availability.

Ok, a concern of mine I'd like to address:  Lip balms, a couple people have experienced a  couple problems with the lip balm tubes that I thought I'd address. First was how they twist up and not twist down, I have put in an email to my supplier to find out if they are suppose to be like this or if there is some sort of mechanical defect with them. I hope to hear back from them this week. I will update here when I hear back. I'm hoping it's not mechanical, I literally have hundreds of those tubes.


Second, a couple have experienced a crack in the lip balm, this is an error on my part. When I make the lip balms I place the tubes in a filling tray, once they cool off I then use a spatula scraper to scrape the tops to create a level and clean top, I believe this is where the problem arose from. I think I may have done this at a temp that may have been too cool for this. Usually I scrape at a slightly warmer temp, where it hasn't fully cooled off. 

I am offering replacements on the lip balms that are cracked, please contact me either via convo on etsy or email.


Once I hear back from my supplier on the tubes I will post here.

Last Day to Order

Just a friendly reminder that today is the last day to order before we close for vacation. The etsy shop is going to be closed late tonight. The website will remain open but all orders placed after today will not ship until we reopen on Monday, October 17th.

Vacation Clarification

Just a clarification about going into vacation mode on etsy. As I think I may have confused a few, as well as myself, lol.

I am setting the shop into vacation mode beginning Wednesday October 5th, so tomorrow Tuesday October 4th is the last day to order. All orders that were placed over this past weekend, today and anything from tomorrow are shipping today and tomorrow and by weeks end. So far though it looks like I have the shipping TAT down to 1-2 days still. 

I will be available until Thursday via email if you shall need me. After this I will not be available as I will be out of the country. The shop will reopen on Monday October 17th. 

I hope that clears things up.

Last Day to Order Before Vacation Notice

Just a friendly reminder that the last day to order before I close for vacation is Tuesday October 4th. All orders placed by then will ship out by the 7th. This applies to both the etsy shop and the website. The etsy shop will go into vacation mode, the website will remain open. I will be available via convo until the 5th. After this I will be unavailable as I will be out of the country.

I have been getting a lot of inquiries about body lotions. I will be adding body lotions back when I reopen on the 17th. I will be offering the lotions in all the scents I offer with the exception of:
