Birthday Sale Reminder

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am keeping the sale open for one more day since I wasn't able to add the lotions up just yet. I'm working on adding them today as we speak. The sale will end tomorrow, Monday by 6pm Pacific time.

I'm a bit delayed on adding a few things. I wanted to get caught up on orders first before I started adding new products. So now that I'm caught up, I'm currently editing photos for the lotions and then I'll add those up on etsy in a bit.


As far as the lip balms go, I did not hear back from my supplier, so I will be placing a phone call tomorrow. Maybe I'll get an answer that way. I'd really like to know if the lip balm tubes are suppose to work in that manner or if they are suppose to go back down after you turn them up. So I will keep you posted.

Last Day to Order Before Vacation Notice

Just a friendly reminder that the last day to order before I close for vacation is Tuesday October 4th. All orders placed by then will ship out by the 7th. This applies to both the etsy shop and the website. The etsy shop will go into vacation mode, the website will remain open. I will be available via convo until the 5th. After this I will be unavailable as I will be out of the country.

I have been getting a lot of inquiries about body lotions. I will be adding body lotions back when I reopen on the 17th. I will be offering the lotions in all the scents I offer with the exception of:

Candy Corn

Marshmallow Woods

Hedonistic

Turkish Mocha

Black Cat

Vacation Clarification

There's a bit of confusion about my vacation notice.

As I mentioned previously, I will be closed on September 30th, but will reopen on Monday October 3rd. I have to leave out of town for a few days but will process all orders received during that time when I return. The etsy shop and site will remain open. All orders received by Thursday September 29th, 12pm Pacific standard time will go out that same day. Anything after that will go out beginning on Monday October 3rd.

Now, I will also be closed beginning October 7th, 2011. All orders placed until Tuesday October 4th will be shipped out prior to closure. All orders made after the 4th will be processed upon our return Monday October 17th.

During this time I will be out of the country and unable to answer any emails or convos. The etsy shop will be closed and no one will be able to place orders there. The website will remain open to orders, but will not be processed until my return.

This gives only a brief time for orders once I reopen from my initial closure. It also doesn't give much time for orders for the remainder of my Fall line that's debuting this Wednesday/Thursday. 

The good news is that I will be working like a mad woman getting all orders out as quickly as possible before I leave out of town. Not only that, but I will be working like an insanely mad woman to get all orders out before I leave the country.


And when I return I will be getting ready to debut the first half of the Christmas/Winter line.


Oh and before I forget, I was asked today how long was the Halloween and Fall line going to be offered until, Halloween until October 31st, naturally (or inventory is depleted) and the Fall line until November 21st or until inventory is depleted, whichever comes first.


And finally, the new etsy shop will be open beginning November 1st. The old etsy shop will remain, but not to purchase. A notice will be up in the announcements section with a link to the new etsy shop. Same goes for the new website, www.debaucherousbath,com, it will be ready around November 1st as well. It takes quite some time to move all images, products, etc over. And with me leaving out of the country I'm hoping to get it all over quickly and smoothly. I'm working on getting as much done as quickly as I can before I leave.

New items coming!

New scents are coming next Wednesday, September 21st to both the site and etsy.

Also sometime next month a new product will be making it's debut. We're so excited about it too. It's perfect for the cold dry weather that is quickly approaching many of us.

Also, by Monday, we will be back to our 1-2 business day turn around. We were all caught up there for a couple days but we have found ourselves back to 2-3 business days yet again.

The fun never ends & Updates

The fun just never ends. I have been busy getting orders out. I am currently back to a 1-2 business day turn around time. This past weekend was a busy one working on orders. All orders received up until yesterday, Monday Sept. 12th have been shipped.

I also have the remainder of my fall  and Halloween line up debuting next week.

I'm working on getting the soaps up. It's taking me a little bit longer than planned since I am working on keeping up with orders. But by the end of the week all will be up and available for sure!

The winter and Christmas line will be debuting in October as well.  I will be debuting them in 2 parts. The German inspired line will be debuting first. And then around either the end of October or the beginning of November I'll debut the 2nd line.

Important Announcement

I have some wonderful news to share!!! I have received an overwhelming response to my first choice name with lots of positive feedback. Initially Haus of Haunt was going to be Debaucherous Bath & Body. After some time with my cousins and uncle at the conception of my business (who are German) they insisted on Haus of Haunt (haus meaning house) due to my personality and my love for anything strange, unique, spooky and well hauntingly beautiful. 


I have officially decided to go with my original choice and I am so excited!
With lots of thought, beginning after the New Year, Haus of Haunt will become Debaucherous Bath & Body!

So after the New Year you will see Haus of Haunt  become Debaucherous Bath & Body!! Everything else will remain the same as far as our look, labels, etc. The only change that will take place is our business name to our original choice. And our web domain will be changing too, to www.debaucherousbath.com.


The new name transition will slowly take place over the holidays and be official at our reopening in January.

The reason the new name will take some time to transition over is because of the limited amount of time I will have throughout the holidays as I will also be closed part of next month (October, I will be out of the country) and with the holidays approaching makes it a little more time consuming, but, during that time will be when the change takes place. Labels will be reworked on, website as well and transitioning over to a new web domain. I really cannot wait, I'm so excited as this was really my first choice to begin with!!

Etsy

I finally made it to etsy. I have begun to list items in my etsy shop. I will gradually add them all by the end of the week as time permits.

Whipped soaps and bubbling scrubs are this weekend and hopefully lip balms too. During the week will be lotions and sugar scrubs and at the end of the week the soaps will be listed.

I have more Fall & Halloween items being added late next week or early the following week as well.

Blog is up!

Our blog is officially up and running.

So some new updates. Some of our fall and Halloween in Wonderland products are up. Photos will be up by mid month and by the end of the month the remainder of our fall line up will be added.

All Fall and Halloween in Wonderland products will be available until mid November. Near the end of September or early October our Christmas and Winter products will make their debut. Yay!

Many fall and Halloween in Wonderland products are coming back from years past as well as new scents.

Some of the new Fall scents...Raven, Midnight Carnival, Pirate Wench and Bewitching Hour as well as a few more I'm not telling yet, lol.
