Order Updates

I am currently working on catching up on convos and emails and completing orders for today and Tuesdays shipment. I have been MIA for a few days. My youngest, at only 2, was very ill (102 fever and a night in the ER, she is much better now) while my 2nd youngest was nearly as bad and then I became very ill, she and I are much better now. Not sure if it has passed, my husband just told me he is feeling cold and is blasting the heater, it's not cold here and no one else is cold. Poor thing, I think he is getting it now. And my oldest asked for cough drops, sigh. That's leaves 1 more. I hope no one else in the house gets whatever it is. It's a very nasty thing. I myself had pneumonia. A visit to my doctor, plenty of rest and the rights meds and I am much better now. We all had our flu shots last year. Lovely, just lovely.

So I am catching up tonight on convos and emails. All orders have been completed and I'll be updating tracking as well as refunding any shipping over charges.

We are also working on having the site complete within the next few days. New items will be going up as well as restocks.

So once again, I thank you for your patience.

Shipping

With the new USPS shipping rates, it is taking me a bit longer to add my new collections. As well as having to restock the bubbling scrubs and whipped soaps to also reflect the new shipping charges. With the exception of the lip balms, perfumes and samples, shipping for the scrubs, lotions and whipped soap will reflect USPS Priority Mail fees. If your order is small enough, I will ship First Class and refund the difference as usual.

We are looking at a restock date of Saturday January 28th as well as the collections debut. I will be adding them all in one day.

I hope everyone has a fabulous day!

Whipped Soaps, Bubbling Scrubs

Just an update that we are sold out through the site on the whipped soaps and bubbling scrubs which is why I took them down on the former website and etsy site. I will be restocking as soon as I can, possibly late in the week. I will keep everyone informed as to when.

When I do restock, I will be adding them to the new site instead of the former site.

Thank you!

Collections Update

I will begin to debut the collections this week. I will start with the Dark woods collections. Then the Loved to Death Valentine collection and then into the week I'll debut the Twisted Fairytale collection.

In regards to samples. At this time I'll only be offering samples in the perfume petites and only as sets. Each set will be representing each new collection and priced accordingly.
The Loved to Death Valentine Collection will be available until the end of February. The Dark Woods collection will be available until the end of March. And the Twisted Fairytale collection will be available until the end of April.

No new collections will debut until Spring when I introduce my summer collections. In case you haven't been able to tell, I'm not much of a Spring type of person, lol.

I will however, be offering a few new perfumes for Spring that will not be available in any other product. These will not be typical fragrances either, as usual. They are going to be on the pricier side as they will contain CO2's and absolutes such as Jasmine Sambac and Rose Otto. If you are familiar with these such as Jasmine Sambac absolute, than you know how lovely it is and how pricey it is as well. These more expensive yet divine perfumes will not be offered in the usual 5ml sizes. To make them a bit more affordable, they will be in the perfume petite sizes.

Until then, I will be working on getting the collections up on the site.

Have a fabulous day!

Collections Update

Back on Track!

Finally back on track! And it feels so good!  If by any chance I missed your email or convo, please send another one. I have been receiving so many of them sending your thoughts and prayers (thank you so much!) and checking on your order status that I feel like sometimes I may be missing one. So please, if I did, try again. Like I always say, customer service is my number one priority. If you are unhappy at any point, please feel free to contact me, I will help you in any way I can to make you happy.

As of today, turn around time is back to 1-3 business days. This is wonderful news! I'm still transitioning over everything to the new site as well. You can still place orders on the old site, but that will only be for another week. After that orders will only be placed through the new site and of course the etsy shop.

Thank you again for your patience. And for all your patience I have a special little surprise planned for everyone. Stay tuned.....

Order Updates

Just another update. All orders are finally out. I'm updating all tracking tonight. My girlfriend surprised me today by coming over and helping me out. I cannot thank her enough. There is nothing like having a good friend in a time of need.

She brought over some wonderful tea from Teavana. Have you ever had any tea from there? Quite expensive, but absolutely delicious. I love their Monkey Picked Oolong Tea. And we shared some of my homemade, sugar free, gluten free, protein rich delicious cookies as we packed orders! I will have to share them with you some time, they are really delicious.

I have to say, I am feeling quite better. I feel energized, ready to get back to work and get these new collections out there for everyone. Ready to get back on track once again.

I want to thank everyone for all your patience, from the bottom of my heart. It means the world to me. From the busy hectic time during Christmas (from Thanksgiving until after New Years actually) and with my most recent situation.

I am looking forward to another wonderful year.

Shipping, New Collections Update

About 90% of orders are up to date and the rest are being shipped today since the post office  was closed yesterday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr's birthday.

Thank you for all your kind words during this difficult time for my family. We appreciate it.

Later today I will be posting my closure dates for the year (vacation, holiday schedules, etc).

I am back to work for today and then off for a nice hot bath and long nap. I haven't slept much the last few days and it is beginning to catch up with me.  I will be taking the next couple days off to rest and then back to work by Thursday. I will be restocking, taking down the Christmas line and adding new items from my new collections.

I hope everyone has a fabulous week.

Important Notice

I usually do not bring my personal life into my business side, but...

I recently found out someone close to the family has passed away. I am going to finish the outstanding orders I have this weekend and then take a few days off next week. The etsy shop will remain open but I will not be available for convo.

This means there will be a delay for my collections debuting. I apologize for this, but I need a few days to recover.

The collections will be debuting later next week instead of Monday. I will resume to processing orders and answering convos by Wednesday or Thursday.

I appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.

USPS Announces New Shipping Rates for 2012

Technically they announced this last year, but the rates are going up in just 11 days.

USPS is increasing their rates yet again beginning January 22nd.

More info can be found here:

USPS 2012 Rate Increase

What does this mean for Debaucherous Bath?

Shipping rates will be increased in our etsy shop to reflect these changes. As always, I charge EXACT shipping. Anything over $1 is ALWAYS refunded. I will continue to choose the cheapest method for you. As usual, lighter orders such as lip balms and sample orders such as the perfume petites will ship as First Class. If your order is large enough, I can ship in a flat rate box. If you do not mind slower mail, I can ship via Parcel Post as well if it's cheap enough. It just depends really.

As always, I will continue to provide you with the best customer service I can possibly provide.

Now if only USPS can provide GUARANTEED on time delivery....

New Updates, Christmas Line, Overstock

As of today all orders are processed and on their way out the door. Yay! Today I am updating tracking for everyone and finally feedback as well. It feels so good to get all this caught up. Kind of like cleaning house after Christmas. Even though you love it all, it's nice to get it out, lol.

And finally, today I will be adding Dark Woods. I really hate to add anything new when I'm still trying to get caught up on orders. But now that we are finally there, I can feel relieved to do so.

The Traditional Christmas and German Christmas might be coming down a bit sooner. I'm running low on a few items. I have a list of what I'm running low on:

Lebkuchen in all products
Sankt Nikolaus Lotion
Stollen Lotion
Grandma Lees Eggnog everything
Aunt Hattie Mae's Sweet Potato Pie, everything

Also, during the holiday, a total of 7 packages were lost. While I do my best to update all tracking and follow up on those packages from my account, there may be times where I am not aware that a package has gone astray. Please, at any time, if your package is not showing any status updates, please contact me asap or even USPS. I will do my best to contact USPS and see what is going on. If all else fails, I will replace the package. But as a lesson learned, any orders over $50.00 will now require the purchase of insurance. I feel this is best for both the customer and myself to insure that your orders arrives safely and to its destination.

I am available M-F, usually 9am to 5pm. There may be times when I can sneak onto the computer when the family is asleep, lol. Weekends I am usually away with my family. But feel free to convo me anytime. I answer all convos as quickly as I can.

Now, back to work! Have a fabulous day!

Bathory

It appears that for January we are experiencing unusually warm weather here in Southern California. Rather disappointing if you ask me. I'm ready for a weekend retreat to the mountain snow. I wish I had time for another vacation and could go to some beautiful resort in Aspen, but alas, I cannot. Many of you live in the snow for months and months while here I can only dream of a snow day. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't dream of shoveling snow day in and day out, I feel for those that do!  I love my California sunshine, it's just nice to have colder days where I can wear sweaters, scarves, just bundle up when I step out the door. Or perhaps light up the fireplace, sit with my kids and husband and read a good book.

Well, because of the unexpected warm weather as of late, Bathory is being held off on being shipped for a week until the weather cools back down a bit. I have had a report of Bathory leaking a bit because of our warm weather. I'd hate for it to leak in other orders as well.

Also, please keep in mind if you live in a warmer climate, it will melt. Something you may want to consider when placing an order. I am only offering Bathory until about March. If the weather stays cool a bit longer, I'll offer it a bit longer. But once the weather starts to warm up, Bathory won't be back until cool weather again at the end of the year. I recommend stocking up, if you love wearing sandals like I do all summer long, this really helps prolong those pedicures!! Next week I'll be adding a few other scent choices in Bathory.

Have a fabulous day!!

YAY!

International Orders, Registered Mail & Insurance

Just an update regarding international orders.

With the holidays just ending, mail slowing down during this time, a few packages were lost; U.S. and international. U.S. packages are provided with delivery confirmation which usually has tracking. International packages are given a number, but tracking is 99% of the time not used by USPS and of course once it leaves the U.S. it cannot be used in the country it is going to. I think out of all the international packages I have shipped in 2011, only 1 was scanned as leaving the sorting facility and that was it.

For 2012, all international packages will be shipped with registered mail, meaning you or someone you know at your residence will have to sign for the package in order to receive it.

If your order is over $50.00 and you want First class mail (should your package qualify), I will require the purchase of insurance. Which is typically around $1.62-2.07.

If you live in a country with an unreliable delivery service, than we can ship via USPS Priority.  Priority Mail packages arrive within 6-10 days depending upon their destination and can be more reliable.

I'm working on offering Priority Mail flat rate in the large video boxes, which is $13.25, thanks to the help of one of my LOVELY customers down under!

I know it's a pain, but it's for the protection of us both. I'd hate for you to be waiting for weeks and nothing to arrive only to find out it's been lost.

Thank you for your understanding!

Overstock Items are up!

Just an update to let everyone know all the overstock items are up now.

Have a fabulous day!!!

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Years everyone!

Monday will be a very busy day!

Tomorrow I will be adding overstock items beginning around 9am Pacific time. To make it fair for everyone, I will list the entire quantity I have available at one time. I will not be able to do any custom listings during this time. The sale will last until inventory is depleted. Items being offered are from the Fall and Halloween collections. There aren't many to begin with.

A reminder that the Traditional and German Christmas line will be available until January 15th. Unfortunately I cannot make any exceptions for any extensions. I have 2 new collections debuting on the 16th in which 1 is for Valentine's day that I want to ensure will be shipped out and received BEFORE Valentine's day. And 1 new collection coming out tomorrow.

Which brings me to the deadline for Valentine orders, if you are ordering for Valentines gifts, please place your orders no later than February 6th. I will be more than happy to include a little note from you just as I did during Christmas.

Dark Woods will also be making its debut tomorrow. I'll be adding items by the evening.

Here's a sneak peek at what's coming:

Loved to Death Valentine Collection

2 Lovers

There once was 2 young lovers, that chose 2 separate paths. A decision both of them grew to regret. They desperately wanted to be together, but life wouldn't permit them. They would see each other any chance they had, despite the fact that both were married to other people. Their hearts belonged to one another, no matter what they did, they could not keep away from each other. They could not stop thinking of the other. Sometimes months would go by even a year without speaking or seeing one another, with both of them trying so hard to move on with their lives, only to find themselves longing for each other and to never stop thinking of the other.
Before you knew it many years had passed, they both had children of their own, grown and off on their own. Not long after, both of their spouses were ailing. Ridden with guilt, they could not leave them and stayed with them until the end. Only for them to pass on before their spouses. Never to be together in life.

It is said that their spirits roam at night in search of one another's love, some have said you can hear her crying on hot summer nights with a full moon; when they first met it was on a heady summers night with a glowing full moon.

Heady jasmine, moonlit magnolias, dark chocolate, black amber, rotting plums, vanilla beans.

 Death by Chocolate

One day there was a couple, married for nearly 10 years. He loved her so much, too much. His jealous actions drove her to another lover. He discovered this, but didn't want her to know. So he planned a romantic night for them. A gift, a beautiful gold box filled with little chocolate orbs, her favorite. Little did she know it would lead to her demise.

Poisoned dark chocolate orbs filled with a raspberry ganache and blackberry liquor.

 Bound By Blood

An undying love. 2 lovers slit their fingers, letting droplets of blood drop into amber resin only to be forever encapsulated.

Golden amber resin, blood orange, dragons blood.

All She Wants

All she ever wanted was to love and be loved. Always chasing what wasn't there. Reality was always a dream. That yearning to be touched.

Blackberries, chocolate, vanilla, amber, sweet violets, oakmoss.

Doll Parts

Doll eyes, doll arms, doll parts scattered about, all torn apart by an insanely jealous young woman. Her lover told her she wasn't as pretty as her dolls and never will be. Such an awful thing to say really. But in all her insanity, she decides to try and look like her doll, curling her long hair into two pigtails, applying red lipstick half-hazardly on her mouth, bright pink blush in perfect circles on her porcelain white cheeks, mascara caked on her lashes making her bright blue eyes stand out in a daze. How do you like me now she asks. He doesn't. He runs off scared.

Blood red cherries, bubble gum pop, strawberry lollipops, pomegranates, soft musk and vanilla beans.

In a couple days I'll give you a sneak peek at my other collection debuting this month as well.  Twisted Fairytales.

I wish everyone a healthy and prosperous new year!
