A Little About Me and Current Updates

Just a quick update, turn around time is still at 10-14 "business" days, but will be back to 3-4 by Friday, October 3rd.

I thought I'd take this time to share a little about me besides the usual.

I also just want to thank everyone for their continued patience, especially during this time of year when things really start to pick up. I am a one woman business with 4 kids in which 3 are in 3 different schools, at 3 different times due to their ages. So my schedule is very crazy during the week. At the same time, we are the only ones here without any other family to help out. My oldest is a full time college student in her 3rd year of obtaining her BA in film and works full time so the days of getting her help are long gone. My husband travels from time to time for work, but tries to help whenever he can.

When I started Debaucherous Bath I never thought it would get as big as it has gotten (and I am very blessed and thankful it has). It actually was not my intention to really grow this much and I started it as just a hobby and something to do with my spare time (yes even with 3 kids at the time, I actually had spare time, lol). To share my twisted ways in a sense (no pun intended). I was pregnant with my youngest and on bed rest the entire 9 months (having already suffered 4 miscarriages in the past). Bored out of my mind I created Debaucherous Bath. Although I was already in the industry for a decade by then, I had been on a long hiatus and was spending my time with my family and going to school full time to obtain my bachelors (up until my pregnancy).

Then a couple years ago, we had the unfortunate event of losing loved ones. I had to take a much needed break and just step away. A year later (and ago) I came back and have been at it since. While I have no intentions of going anywhere, I must say that being a 1 woman business, with a very busy schedule can be quite stressful at times.I try to do my best and know that at times I drop the ball, but I always pick it back up and keep going.

So, to keep things running as smoothly as possible, beginning October 1st, I will no longer be able to accept custom listings on etsy during the busy holiday season. I will continue to refund shipping overages as I always have. I will process shipping overages within  24 hours of your order being placed.

Also, beginning Monday October 6th, after I am completely caught up, I am taking a much needed week off from processing orders. I will resume processing orders on Monday October 13th for all orders received after 6th. I will still be available via email and convo and the shop and website will remain open. I will also be using this time to replenish stock and finish listing all the fall items on both etsy and the website. I just will not be processing orders during this week though. Everything will be listed, including all available samples.

Also, on October 13th, I will begin to launch the Christmas line. So this week off is very important and making sure everything is ready to go and keep TAT down as much as possible.

In the meantime, I am working here with the help of my bff whom I just adore. She comes over on the weekends all the way from Orange County to help process orders with me. Thank you L!

I am also working my way through convos and emails, so please bare with me. I am the kind of person that likes to take my time when answering and not rush through giving you crummy customer service.

Again, thank you so much for all your patience.

Have a fabulous week!

DB
